Who designed the course?

The TEFL2go course was designed by Language Link Russia’s academic team, who have extensive experience as EFL instructors and teacher-trainers.

The course is based on the materials of a very successful intensive face-to-face Internship Training Programme (ITP) that Language Link runs for prospective teachers. The ITP includes methodology, grammar and extensive teaching practice. You can find more details about the programme here.

Assessment

Each session will contain a number of practice activities, such as quizzes and matching exercises, as well as some assessed activities. You will have two or three attempts to do an assessed activity, if needed. Your success rating will appear as a percentage after you submit your answers. Your rating will accumulate throughout the course and you will receive an overall percentage rating after you complete all tasks.

Certificates

Language Link certificates will be awarded to those who complete the course successfully. To obtain a certificate you will need to meet the following requirements:

“Pass” certificate

  • complete all activities and receive a minimum of 60% success rating.

“Pass with merit” certificate

  • complete all activities and receive a minimum of 80% success rating.
